Author Visit
I am an author who loves to visit schools and speak to students about my books and the writing process. I can tailor my presentations for students from preschool to high school.

Pre-Order Books
My books will be preordered through my website for each specific event. All preordered books will arrive at the event with me and will be signed at the event. When the terms are set for the Author Visit, I will create an email for the school to send to the parents and a downloadable brochure for teachers to pass out in class. The event will have its own web address and QR code to help with the preorder.
Presentation for Younger Students
Introduction:
- Introduce myself and my When Outside book series.
- Talk about my journey as an author.
Reading:
- Read a book from my When Outside Just Say Hi book series.
- Encourage students to participate in the story by asking questions and making predictions.
- Answer questions from students about my book, my writing process, and being an author.
Closing:
- Thank students for their time and participation.
- Encourage them to keep reading and writing!
Presentation for Older Children
Introduction:
- Introduce myself and my book series.
- Talk about my journey as an author.
- Explain the benefits of having an author visit your school.
Development of a story:
- Ideas
- Creating an outline
- Drafting, writing, and editing
Q&A:
- Answer questions from students about my book, my writing process, and being an author.
Closing:
- Thank students for their time and participation.
- Encourage them to keep reading and writing!
Onsite Fees
My rates are $400 per classroom session, up to 3 classroom sessions per day. Book all 3 classroom sessions a day for a rate of $1000.
Assemble rate is $1000 for 2 assembles in one day.
1 session includes reading of a book, questions and answers, and book signing.
*Travel and accommodation fees to be included on visits over 40 miles from Brick, NJ 08723. Terms and conditions can be discussed.*
